Kenai River Fishing Trips

Kenai River Fishing The Kenai River in Alaska is legendary for salmon runs in abundance. The river generates food and nourishment for nearly all of southcentral Alaska’s ecosytem. The audience this river serves includes recreational anglers who seek the pleasure and enjoyment of fishing and filling our freezers. Day trips for salmon on the Kenai are always enjoyable. We offer full or half day trips for kings, sockeye and silvers. River captain Nate Humphrey is our main host on Kenai River fishing trips. Sockeye and silver trips result in harvest while our Kenai River king trips are catch and release. If you would like to take king home, please consider a Kasilof River trip.

Kenai River Fishing is some of the best known fishing in Alaska due to several key factors:

  • The fisheries are abundant and healthy, for the most part.
  • It is road accessible with many access points.
  • It is some of the most stunning scenery all around.
  • The Kenai Is home to some special species of fish like the famous Kenai kings.

Kasilof River Fishing Trips

The Kasilof River is just 15 miles south down the road from the Kenai. Beginning in mid May, the first run of kings appears on the Kasilof. The first run is made up mainly of hatchery kings, but wild will also appear. Guests are welcome to take their limit of hatchery kings according to ADFG regulations. We also host sockeye harvest trips on the Kasilof.
